Broken China Jewelry

Monday, September 04, 2006

There's a full-page ad in the latest (September/October) issue of Southern Lady for Vintage Revival - it's jewelry made from broken china.

I think that this idea may have started with Broken China Jewelry, and there are *so* many people making it now (here here here here and here)! Many of the pieces have a really romantic feel, and others look just *fun*!

The most beautiful thing about it is that if you have a broken or damaged plate, you can either send it off to make something pretty out of, or you can do it yourself - there's even a tutorial from the "Jewelry Making" show in DIY Network on how to do it! I might have to try that...
