Katie Brown Workshop, and at Home Show

I finally found more about the new Katie Brown show, 'Katie Brown Workshop'! There's been a teaser for it on Katie's site for a few months now, but all it really says is that it will be a weekly half-hour show debuting in Spring of 2006.

After a little more searching, I found the American Public Television site - that's who is offering the show to the local public television stations. They have this interview with Katie, and then this page with more details about the show - that's the first place I've seen with the April 1st broadcast date. The really neat thing is that they also have a place on that page where you can download a Word document with episode descriptions of the first thirteen shows.

I found one more thing about a different show she'll be doing starting in June 2006, called 'Katie Brown @ Home', which is being done for something MagRack, an on-demand television network. Here's the press release:

Katie Brown-Premiering June 2006
Katie Brown is the fresh new voice of house and home know-how. Her homey appeal and hip sense of style will bring Mag Rack viewers closer to the style they want to embrace. Mag Rack's new, 21-part original series, "Katie Brown @ Home", provides time-saving advice that will provide viewers with unique, inexpensive ideas on how to "cook, nest and grow".

I guess MagRack is a cable channel that's only available in certain areas (not mine) -- you can find out if you get it by going to the site, clicking on 'how do I get MagRack' at the bottom of the page, and then entering your zip code.
